Yeah the cvts seem to be alittle shaky in this car.. I had 2 trannys replaced; took it in to the dealership many times and they made up excuses every time. Apparently, the “noise” was coming from the brakes, so they decided to “grind” down the brakes which cost me over $500.. Inevitably, they finally said the noise was coming from the tranny and replaced it the first time. Then, within the first few weeks, the noise came back and it needed another tranny. Thank god for the warranty.

I hear the Rogue’s made in USA were the problematic ones with the tranny issues and the ones made in Japan were just fine…If that’s the case my dad’s should be fine since it’s made in Japan. Other than that I’m kinda hoping he sells it for something else sometime soon, I still love the car but I am worried about long term reliability now since all the recalls and stuff.
